Plenty of give, texture, and "crashability." Combination of top articulation and bottom spread provides excellent stick articulation. Higher in pitch.

Best Of The Best

I have owned this cymbal for close to a year now, and I still never get tired of the sound. It generates a loud, powerful crash when "crashing", and a dark, beautiful ping when "riding". It's perfect for live shows but it is even better to use in the recoding studio. The one down side of this cymal is the lack of a bell.

Great Jazz Ride

If you are looking for that "tah" jazz sound reminiscent of Elvin Jones and other great bebop jazz drummers--This is the cymbal for you. It has a warm shimmer, a nice singing sustain, good stick articulation, an explosive crash, and a loud clear bell. This cymbal just sings nice and warm. It's probably too dark for rock (this is not a "cutting" cymbal). But is great for jazz, latin, and fusion. I have always wanted a cymbal with that "tah" sounding shimmer. Now I have it.
