This is one of the top snares going. I have had 3 Craviottos, a Neal Peart Edge, a Timeless Timber, a Manu Katche, Beech, Birch and Maple absolutes in every size, custom Spaun snares, Tama, Slingerland, Ludwig, Sonar, a 20-ply Pearl Reference (very nice) and this is at the top of the list. The snares are more responsive than anything I have played. The lugs move so easily, even at a Timpanic pressure of 85, it seems like they have no pressure on them. The strainer is smooth and silent. I've paid more, but this is a KEEPER.
