This stick has the quality many people have come to love and expect from Vic Firth. It allows for silent practice, which is very nice sometimes. I have not had the stick for an extended period of time (~2 months) and the head has not come off yet (I kind of expected it to), and it seems very sturdy. Overall the stick is a great buy, it also sounds cool as a special effects stick on tenors and snares. Not to mention the look on other drummers faces when they see your awesome sticks... :-)

Scojos are great. You can play them anywhere, and they make unique sounds on snare and tenors. Definitely a great practice stick.

I purchased these sticks awhile ago, and when I did get them I was super excited because I heard I can play ANYWHERE with a good bounce still. I was amazed! Everywhere I went, on the floor, on wood, on a car seat these sticks would bounce. Whenever I left my pad I would just use these sticks and it was just as good. These sticks are a MUST for serious drummers
