I wanted a deep wooden shell snare to replace my chrome 5.5 snare. When I saw the price of the Verve X I couldn't go wrong , an neither will you! I replaced both stock heads with Evans and it sounds like a cannon!! I'm very pleased!

For this price, you really cant get a better deal. This snare has a really deep, thunderous tone. It's a really versitile drum; with the internal muffler and how wide the tension range of the snare strainer is, the possibilities are endless.
