These reeds are a good value for students and amateurs. While they are not the most durable, they have a very good tone. Because they are relatively cheap, you don't need to panic when you destroy one by bumping the mouthpiece into the music stand. You can can always keep a few on hand as backups. I've never had one crack unless I did something to provoke it. Don't let them dry completely out (only a problem in low humidity), and the last quite well.

I have used these and do just no like them. They crack very very easily, and seemed to have poor sound quality. If you wanna sounds good go get Vandoren reeds, they're more, but its well worth it!
