Had they designed this case an inch longer they could have put some protective padding where the mouthpiece end of the horn rests against the end of the interior. As it is, there is none. The accessory pouch will hold little more than a bottle of valve oil, a polishing/wiping cloth and a straight mute. The quality of construction and materials is excellent, they just fell a little short on foresight when they designed it.

Quality of materials and construction is great, but if the case had been designed to be an inch longer they could have provided ample padding at the mouthpiece end of the instrument. As is, there is zero padding and a rather hard surface resting right against the bend in the bell tube.

Though there is no question of the high quality of construction and material in this case. However, I wouldn't consider the zippered side compartment as being "roomy", as it will hold little more than a straight mute, a bottle of valve oil and a couple of extra mouthpieces. Padding is adequate or better on all interior surfaces except for the virtually unpadded end where the mouthpiece end of the horn rests, which to me is an open invitation to a dent in the bell crook. The slide on the shoulder strap, being made of a semi-stiff plastic or rubber material is also not padded and therefore rather uncomfortable.
