A very good drum, if you know how to set it up. they seem very sturdy (I know I've dropped one a couple times onto marble flooring. I think the floor would crack first). We have three for the line, and while it's really hard to tune (specifically because of the snares - they sometimes want to poke up through the heads, which can be a real problem). Aside from that, they sound great (absolutely deafening inside). Worth the money, though you could probably find something cheaper that would suit your purposes.
