This stand first off is very solid. It will hold any drum no problem. The 360 Degree Tilter is very useful for quick adjustments. I have collapsed it and it back up 2-3 times a week for the past two years and it still is just as sturdy as day one. The oversized rubber tips at the end of the basket do a nice job protecting your drum. I am 6" 1' and without and extendors I am able to play at a comfortable height and the stand could probably be raised 5-6 six more inches so even very tall people are able to play at a comfortable height to maximize their playing potential. If you are looking for a quality concert snare stand for a good price, this is your ticket. Don't use for drumset
