I got this in the 6th grade for concert band, and its amazing. I'm now in the 11th grade and use it as my primary snare on my drumset. I absolutely love it. Its got an amazing sound to it. Definitely buy it.

For the years that I've been playing...(5 to be exact) this was the first thing that I used. It's a very great way to start in the world of percussion. It has definitely helped me excel when I was a beginner musician. Not only that the snare and hardware is amazing. It has just the right crack and sustain for a perfect snare. In my opinion anyway. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to start playing the drums and percussion.

This snare has the best pop ever! I got this snare when I was in in 4th grade and it is still in incredible shape, im in 11th grade now. I have not experienced any problems with the snare up until a few months ago when the damper fell off but that was easily fixed with super glue. Great buy! Buy it now! Perfect accent snare for a set.

great drum period. it could have a better throw off but i can live w/ the one on there now. that is all i have found wrong or dislike about this drum. this is the snare i use the most at all my gigs even though my set isn't Ludwig. youll be glad with the quality of this drum when you purchase it.
